The Voluntary Interruption of Pregnancy(also know as I.V.G)

It’s a simple medical act and complications are rare.
The law allows 12 weeks of pregnancy maximum (14 weeks since the last day of your period, in term of amenorrhea).

First, you have to confirm your pregnancy thanks to a blood test or even pregnancy test, you could find them in a pharmacy. Then, during your appointment with your doctor, you will decide which way is the better for you.
You should do this first step as soon as possible, in order to have enough time to think about it.
Usually, 6 days of reflexion are advised after the first appointment.

The choice of the way depends of the period of time :

- between 3 and 5 weeks (5 and 1 weeks of amenorrhea ), it’s possible to use the medicine’s way
- from 5 weeks until 12 weeks (7 to 14 weeks of amenorrhea ), the only possibility is a intervention
   with a gynaecologist.

This choice does not belong to your age. You will decide it in accordance with your situation, well informed and helped by professional that you are going to meet, during an appointment. If you are under age: the presence of a parentis compulsory (father, mother or enven a guardian).
